Isabelle Renard
Isabelle Renard is a lawyer at the Paris Bar, specialising in information technology law and intellectual property. A graduate engineer from INPG (1978) and Doctor of Science from the University of Paris XI (1980), she began her career as an engineer in a major industrial group, spending several years in the United States. Drawn to negotiation and contract management in an international context, she quickly became interested in the communication challenges between engineers and lawyers. This led her to undertake legal studies in the 1990s, earning a Master’s in International Business Law (Paris I) and a DEA in Business Law (Paris II). She was admitted to the Bar in 1999, marking the start of a new career as a lawyer. With her combined scientific and legal background, Isabelle naturally focused on technology law and the protection of innovation. She worked as a partner in leading Parisian business law firms before founding her own practice in 2014. Today, she supports professional clients on all issues relating to digital transformation: dematerialisation, electronic signatures, GDPR, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and more. Recognised for her pragmatic and responsive approach, she always seeks to strike the right balance between legal security and business imperatives.
